SPACEIO // LINUX Command of the Day #8
curl -I: what a website tells you before you open it
What is a website telling you before you even open it?
curl -I https://example.com
What it does
curl fetches web pages from the terminal. -I shows only the response headers: the status code, the server software and the security settings.
Why it matters
Missing headers like Content-Security-Policy or Strict-Transport-Security are common findings in security reviews.
Try it
Run it on a site you own and check which security headers it sends. Share what you found in the community.
